On-Line and Integrated Background Requests
Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations focuses on“REAL-TIME” data. Simply put, “REAL-TIME”
data is up-to-the-minute information, as it happens
from the courthouse. While some municipalities
keep their databases updated with immediate information
from the court, the unfortunate truth is that
the vast majority do not. Many state and county
databases do NOT have “REAL-TIME” data; some
can even take up to 90 days to update. If your background
checks are solely database-driven, you may
be missing critical criminal information!

provides “REAL-TIME” county criminal history
record searches. If the database is not “REALTIME”
our researches physically visit the courthouse
to retrieve the up to date information. We
believe this is the only way to be sure our clients have
the right information to effectively reduce risks in
their workplace. We offer an easy to use on-line system
to receive and deliver criminal records, credit
reports, employment verifications, motor vehicle
records, and much more at competitive prices.
Pinkerton’s Background Research System (PBRS) is
fully automated and web-based using the latest
secure technology. This enables us to integrate
directly with your hiring management or human
resource system and minimize the time your HR
staff would take to input the background request.
Our system is user friendly and since our researchers
provide the results into PBRS the results are generated
much quicker than with older manual or semiautomated
systems.
If system integration is not right for you, you will
still improve your employee productivity by using
our web-portal to enter your request, upload the
employee’s information, and receive the completed
report. Our on-line system eliminates the time spent
faxing or emailing background screening requests.
Once the report is complete you will be notified and
the information will be transmitted automatically or
available at our secure website. For our clients who
are not interested in the automated system we do
still accept faxes and emails.
All of our reports are archived on our secure servers located in NJ and CA which are fully redundant and provide 99.9% availability historically. Some additional features of PBRS are:
